Playing live since 1998, Sara has opened for Mary Lou Lord, Pat Green, Lucero and Iris DeMent.

Her influences include Sarah Harmer, Tom Petty, The Jayhawks, Elliott Smith, Mary Lou Lord, Bruce Springsteen and Don Williams.

Her first EP, nicknamed "The Pink EP" was released in 2002.
