Sara Stokes

Sara Stokes is an American R&B singer from Detroit, Michigan most known for formerly being a member of Bad Boy Records' rap/R&B group Da Band. She was chosen out of thousands to make the band and was the only R&B singer alongside 5 rappers.

Da Band released one album and disbanded. Stokes was immediately cut from Bad Boy Entertainment, and returned to her old life, with her husband and 3 children. She has now launched a solo career.

Sara recently shot a music video for her first single, "You" on Quan Entertainment, an independent label. The song is produced by Kiyamma Griffin (Mary J. Blige, Faith Evans, Carl Thomas). She also had a cameo in Three 6 Mafia's video "Stay Fly".

In recent interviews Sara has said that she left Bad Boy Entertainment on good terms and that there was no bad blood. She is stil friends with her former band mates.

Sara has two myspace pages; a music page and a personal page. Her label Quan Entertainment also has a myspace page.
