Fred Streithorst, Jr. (born June 17, 1971), better known as Sara Lee Lucas, was the drummer of the band Marilyn Manson from 1990, when he replaced the band's drum machine, until 1995, when Manson decided to send off Sara by setting his drumkit on fire at the end of the set. (Ironically, Manson forgot there was one more show left on the tour.) Streithorst took up drumming as a teenager, as part of his rehabilitation from a football injury that left one of his legs permanently disfigured. Because of this handicap, bandmate Marilyn Manson frequently referred to him as "Freddy the Wheel" — allegedly because he walked as though he had a wheel for a foot. The stage name Sara Lee Lucas is derived from the names of baked-goods brand Sara Lee and American serial killer Henry Lee Lucas.
Before he joined Marilyn Manson, he drummed for the local South Florida band "333 Lunatic Lane," and also India Loves You (a band which also featured future bandmate Scott Putesky). After leaving Marilyn Manson, he continued to perform under the name "Sara Lee Lucas", playing for Florida bands Nocturne, Electro-Shock Therapy, and Kuzmark.
In 2000, he was involved in a rollover accident in his sport utility vehicle. He sued the Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, the manufacturer of the vehicle's tires, and, according to his attorney, the injuries he sustained in the accident left him unable to continue performing.
As of 2002, Lucas was the head of the CD and DVD manufacturing and graphic design departments of the Orlando, Florida audio mastering facility MasterLab.
