[edit] How to play Word before last

This is an experimental game that runs two different word association games within the same line.

The game starts off with two unrelated words, for example "pineapple" and "stopwatch". The third word must be associated with the first ("pineapple") while the fourth must associate with the second ("stopwatch"). Therefore the game could run: Pineapple, Stopwatch, Juice, Clock, &c, with the odd-numbered words relating to one another and the even-numbered words relating to one another.

Like the other games: avoid repeating words, keep the links tasteful and use blue links only. For clarity during editing, please alternately add <!--a--> and <!--b--> in the main game or <!--c--> and <!--d--> in Branch 1, and increment the letters during subsequent branches.

In normal play, only add one word at a time, but a new branch requires two starter words. Only the first must come from the parent game but the second can be any unrelated word. From the example, if Juice was a branch, you might place Freddie Starr ate my hamster as the unrelated word.
