The goal of Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns is to preserve and promote the American art form of the genre of multicultural "soul" music and to promote live music as a viable career for musicians. A good model for the relevance of this page is that of the Wiki page of renowned American musician Bill Champlin, who is a long-time friend of Santa Fe leader Jerry Lopez and collaborator with Mr. Lopez and other members of the band. We intend to fill in much more material on the history and important musical work of this band as time permits. This is just a start.
