[edit] Reverse part of the lyrics

About the reversed part "I need true emotions..." I'm wondering, has anyone gotten any official words about what that part actually say, or has anyone actually listened to the actual words carefully and confirmed it? I've tried reversing this part and listening to it myself, and what I hear is always "I need two emotions", as in I can't hear an "r" in there at all. Thanks goes to anyone who has insight into this. -- 72.68.166.89 18:26, 26 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Opinionated

I changed some text in the backwards lyrics section so that it was not as opinionated as the previous version. Janors 22:07, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

I'm adding on to this, I feel the statement passion being "more complex" than Sanctuary came on a little too strongly as a preference and opinion.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.142.130.27 (talkcontribs).

It means in terms of arrangement. "Passion" has background vocals (more parts, more complex) and "Sanctuary" doesn't.—ウルタプ 03:30, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sanctuary ~opening version~ Lyrics

Is it "Music inside" or "Music will tie" just wondering? -- 24.205.175.89 04:55, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

"Music inside," as far as I can tell. It's pretty tough to understand. I don't why lyrics are up anyway; there's been no official release. urutapu 05:19, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

(post added out of turn. for all i know it's music will die. seriously it's kinda creepy, i play part of the game on mute) Does anybody know when a US release will be? Why is the Japanese release out but not the English?--InnerRise 00:26, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

I really have no idea. It might be the B-side track on the next Hikki single, so just wait for now. urutapu 00:53, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Well that would really suck if it was only limited to her next single. There shoule be a US Kingdom Hearts 2 Soundtrack Release just like the first one. It does say the US Release on here is "TBA" so maybe that means there will be one. I doubt there won't be one.--InnerRise 02:05, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
Well, yeah, it'll probably be on the English edition of the OST, but a single is more likely to come up before that. urutapu 03:53, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Well, I was late in getting into the songs of the first game and getting the soundtrack and all of that stuff. I just got it last year. I really just found out about it last year. I think I came across it by accident. It really all comes down to: I started college last year and got a new laptop and I got a Visa Card and since I moved up to my college dorm with a Highspeed connection which I could get on anytime, I really got into online purchasing. So that's how I got into buying CD's offline and I came across Kingdom Hearts. So it was all by chance. I'm just finding out about Utada Hikaru because of "Sanctuary"/"Passion" and her other CD's including a Single CD with "Hikari" on it, which I didn't know exist. I thought there was only "Simple and Clean". So now I want to hear "Hikari". Maybe I'll buy the Single CD offline, I don't know yet. Did Utada Hikaru also release a Single CD with "Simple and Clean" or did "Simple and Clean" come on a Sinlge CD by itself and not a Utada Hikaru Single CD since it's English and not Japanese? And if it did come on an Utada Hikaru Single CD, was it for a release over here, or was it for release in Japan first and foremost, but was also available to buy online from over here?

Well I'm sure if the Single for "Sanctuary" comes out before the US Kingdom Hearts Soundtrack, then I'll be buying the Single. But I still plan on buying the US Kingdom Hearts Soundtrack no matter what.--InnerRise 23:22, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

"Simple And Clean" was the B-side track on Hikki's COLORS single, which was a Japanese single (so was "Hikari"). So you'll have to import. Just so you know, you can buy things from just about every country online...since, you know. It's online. urutapu 23:53, 22 April 2006 (UTC)

Are you being funny with that last bit about it being online. Of course I know this and you know I know this also, because you say I know and it's above in previous posts. I wonder if Japanese children like to listen to songs in English as we like to listen to them in Japanese. And if so, do they think ours sounds more beautiful sometimes as we do with their music.--InnerRise 23:16, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

I don't doubt it. English is considered "trendy" in Japan. urutapu 03:51, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Well that's nice to know. I wish I could forget English for a minute and then hear someone speak it, to get a foreigner's perspective. I sometimes repeat some random english over and over to not get the meaning of it but just to hear the sounds, and how really it's no different then how any other language sounds. Meaning that you can't really differentiate where one word ends and another begins when one is talking at regular speed with no pauses. It's just really a bunch of sounds to them as their language is to us that don't know it. Interesting. I really would like to learn Japanese and go to Japan one day. If they offer it at my college, I'll take it as soon as I'm finish with Spanish.--205.188.117.12 20:29, 24 April 2006 (UTC)--InnerRise 00:58, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

Um the article needs work. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.125.95.154 (talkcontribs).

Um...it's about a single song. And sign your comments. urutapu 02:11, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Am I missing something here?--InnerRise 20:14, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Recently I listened to the song, as far as I know it's "Musical tide" I think... see this is why Wikipedia should provide the lyrics.Atomic45 05:56, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Best song ever

It may be POV but it's the discussion page, so who cares?

This is discussion page about the article, not your opinion of the song...Observation 11:44, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

Well the best song ever was taken off, thank goodness for the person who took it off--As4xx 03:21, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sanctuary - PLANITb Remix

Can someone tell me if the mix on that youtube video someone just posted is official or fan-made? (It's…actually pretty good…—urutapu 16:53, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

It's fan made. And she's the best artist ever. 05:53, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ENTIRE reversed song.

The song has an ENTIRE song new song explaining Riku's story when revrsed. It has an entire list of lyrics. It says "I was Ansem. I will not destry them. I added the full reversed lyrics on the front page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Qelery (talkcontribs) 23:30, 24 January 2007 (UTC).

I doubt the song is about an actual kingdom hearts character, It is simply a theme song to the game, and this information needs to be verifiable, seeing an AMV on youtube is not verifiable. --User:As4xx 05:00, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

Okay, I'll prove my point with the Utada song Simple and Clean. When reversed the song has an ENTIRE new list of lyrics relating to Kingdom Hearts. That's why the lyrics are so different from the origianl Japanese song, they are meant to say someting backwards. The lyrics can be found under the descriptions. Utada uses extreme backmasking!

Sactuary Reversed. Lyrics also under descriptions:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=JTWbj7iUad8&mode=related&search=

How is this relevant? Shouldn't this be placed under Kingdom Hearts?--Skoreangirl 21:17, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Because its a flip-flop song. Not to many songs are like that. When you reverse it, you get 4:59 (in full version) of full lyrics. Name another song (besides one by Utada) where there is a different. full song when reversed. Not too many.
