Talk:San Martino ai Monti

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The current church of San Martino ai Monti is most certainly Carolingian, and the 3rd century structure below it is not believed to have been used as a church or to constitute the Titulus Equitii. Please see Richard Krautheimer's Corpus Basilicarum Christianarum and other reliable sources to dispel the notion that this church should be identified as being founded in the 3rd century. It wasn't.
