Santos Ortega

Santos Ortega (June 30, 1899 - April 10, 1976) was an American actor.
He was most famous for his role as Will Hughes (usually just referred to as "Grandpa") on the soap opera As the World Turns. He replaced actor Will Lee in the role on the second episode of the show (1956). He continued in the role until shortly before his death in 1976.
He was also very active in radio, starring in a Nero Wolfe series and narrating a popular radio show called Gangbusters as well as Stroke of Fate. Perhaps his most famous and notable role was Commissioner Weston on The Shadow. He also played the title role in the daytime radio serial "Perry Mason".
