Santiago Gómez Cou (1903 - 1984) was a classic Uruguyan - Argentine actor who appeared in film between 1936 and 1980.

Born in Montevideo Uruguay, Cou moved to Buenos Aires to puruse a career in film appearing in his first film in 1936. He made some 65 film appearances in Argentina and the USA between 1936 and 1980 appearing in films such as the 1954 film El Abuelo (1954 film) alongside actors such as Enrique Muino and Mecha Ortiz.
