Santa Cruz High School in Santa Cruz, California, opened around 1911.

Santa Cruz High School is a comprehensive public school for grades nine through twelve, and has an enrollment of approximately 1,300 students. The school's most notable academic and athletic rival is Harbor High School, located on the other side of town. Under the leadership of Pete Newell Jr., son of Pete Newell, the boys' basketball team won the California state title in 2005.
