Villa de Santa Brígida (Spanish meaning Saint Brigit is a Canarian municipality in the northeastern portion of the island of Gran Canaria in the Las Palmas province in the Canary Islands. The population is 18,817 (ISTAC, 2003), its density is 790.3/km² and the area is 23.81 km². It is located a main highway linking to the capital and has access with the superhighway GC3. The main industry are agriculture and tourism especially in the park area. The Atlantic Ocean is to the west, north and east, the mountains surround the municipality. Farmlands are along the valleys.
