Sant Satguru Ajaib Singh Ji Maharaj, affectionately known to His disciples as Sant Ji, was born September 11, 1926 in Maina, District Bhatinda, Punjab, India. Sant Ajaib Singh was a Perfect Master of Surat Shabd Yoga. His Master was Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj of Delhi, who came from a lineage of Perfect Masters descending from Kabir, the First Master of this age, the Kali Yuga. Sant Ji gave the initiation into the Light and Sound Principles to tens of thousands of disciples on every major continent during His mission. Sant Ji left His physical body July 6, 1997.

Sant Ji in perfect humility and in the tradition of Sant Mat never claimed to be the Guru or Master and gave all spiritual credit to the two Perfect Masters He physically met and accordingly began every satsang, or spiritual discourse with the words: Salutations unto the Feet of Supreme Fathers, Almighty Lords Sawan and Kirpal, Who have had mercy on the poor souls. They showered Their grace upon the souls and gave them the gift of Their devotion...

Our Satguru, Maharaj Kirpal Singh Ji, came into this world with the message of love, and He taught us to love. And even now we should work according to His message and teachings.

-Sant Ji

While Sant Ajaib Singh Ji has physically left this world, as promised, that same power continues to work in and through the form of His successor Sant Sadhu Ram Ji.
