Sanjuro (.hack)

Sanjuro (also known as Sanjuro Sunaarashi) is a fictional character from .hack, a franchise that encompasses several video games, anime and manga. A long-time player of the mega-popular MMORPG The World, Sanjuro is an ally and acquaintance to several other characters in the franchise.
His virtual avatar, of the Heavy Blade character class, is the form of a ronin with a reddish-orange tunic and shoulderpads, neck-length brown hair, facial stubble, and an eyepath over his right eye.
Sanjuro is an optional character in the .hack games, first appearing in .hack//INFECTION.

The player behind Sanjuro Sunaarashi's player character, being a fan of Akira Kurosawa, based his name from a character in the 1961 film Yojimbo and its sequel Sanjuro.
Initially unaware of events unfolding within The World, Sanjuro was searching a dungeon for the Kotetsu Sword, when he encountered Kite and asked for his assistance. Kite, unable to turn down any request for help, was able retrieve the weapon and present in to Sanjuro. Thankful for Kite's generosity, Sanjuro leaves his Member Address, a in-game e-mail address required to invite others into a party.
