Sangeeta Bijlani

Sangeeta Bijlani (born in 1965) is an Indian Bollywood actress and former model. She is married to Mohammed Azharuddin, after his divorce with his first wife. She was the Miss India winner in 1980 and also National Costume Winner at Miss Universe 1980. She made her Hindi film debut in the 1989 film Tridev and subsequently acted in 16 other Hindi films. She saw limited success as an actress and was known more for her dance numbers than histronic skills. Some of her biggest hits include Tridev and Hathyar. She quit acting after after her marriage to Azharuddin in 1996. She adopted a Muslim name Ayesha Azhar. Azharuddin has two sons from previous marriage.
She is said to have been romantically linked with a number of her co-stars and directors. She is the ex girlfriend of actor Salman Khan.
