Sangar Rihad

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sangar Rihad is an Afghani from the Kandahar area who was identified during several of the Guantanamo detainees as a Taliban leader.[1][2]

Cousins Esmatulla and Nasrullah were arrested with a letter from Abdul Razzaq to Sangar Rihad.

They were arrested by Jan Mohammed, the Governor of Uruzgan Province. Esmatulla speculate that there was a personal feud between the Governor and Sangar Rihad.

Esmatulla says that Mohammed arrested Sangar Rihad, and imprisoned all of them in Kandahar.
