Sandra Cavanaugh

Sandra Cavanaugh is a professional director, actress, teacher and playwright. A native of Idaho, she is currently the Artistic Director of The New Heritage Theatre Company. Sandra has directed more than 75 productions and has written more than 35 plays. Her newest play Fault Line is scheduled to have it’s first public reading starring Olympia Dukakis in the lead role in February of 2007. She is also currently writing the screenplay for the feature film adaptation of Gwen Hyman Rubio's novel Icy Sparks. Sandra is a graduate of Boise State University, The National Shakespeare Conservatory, The National Theatre of Great Britain's Acting Programme, and holds an MFA in Directing from the University of Iowa. Sandra is married to actor/writer Dene Oneida. They have three daughters, Sarah, Andi and Brittni. [1] catagory:theatre
