The Brown Gargantua was born the Frankenstein's Monster cells. He was cared for and raised in a science lab. Then he moved to the mountains. The Brown Gargantua grew quickly and he soon became an enourmous giant. He was a shy and gentle monster and he usually stayed far from humans. When the Green Gargantua was in danger, the Brown Gargantua saved him and carried him to safety. But he was angry found out that the Green Gargantua did not love humans the same way he did, but he fed on them, so he attacked the Green Gargantua. The Green Gargantua esacped and the two Gargantuas reached Tokyo by night. The two of them destroy most of Tokyo during their battle, but a bomb dropped by a helicopter hits an underwater volcano and it explodes and kills the Gargantuas.

The Brown Gargantua has massive power and durability. He was actually able to fight with one of his legs disabled. He is almost as smart as a human being in his thinking and could use nature against his enemies. He can uproot trees and use them as clubs and throw boulders. In the Go! Greenman episode, the Brown Gargantua could become larger in size and had very fast reflexes. He could also breathe a toxic gas from his mouth.

Either the Brown or Green Gargantua was going to be given a chance ot fight Godzilla, but that became a lost project.
Originally, the volcano was going to kill the monsters and destroy Tokyo, but it was changed so that only the Gargantuas die.
