Sanctuary is an upcoming re-mixable Science fiction film which became the first production (2005) to sign professional union actors to Creative Commons licensing terms. It is still in VFX post production as of March 2007. All digital assets including 35mm rushes are cleared for free-for-non-commercial use. The project is a superhero origin story, as well as a pilot for a massively multi-player movie and an interactive story format, the RIG, being developed by MOD Films in London.
