[edit] Export

In the late 1990s, the Reliant motor company of the United Kingdom changed to concentrate on importing "speciality" vehicles rather than manufacturing their range of Reliant Robin three-wheelers. As well as a number of "light vehicles" made by Piaggio and Ligier, the firm had plans to import the Storm and its open-toped sister car. However even though the company had start dates for the imporatation of these cars, this plan never came to fruition.
