Morphosis, the architectural firm, is currently working as the lead designer of the San Francisco Federal Building at 1000 Mission Street on the corner of Mission and 7th Streets in South of Market, San Francisco. The building was expected to be completed in 2005, but construction issues and delays have pushed the project completion to 2007. The building has 18 floors of office space and stands 71 m, or 234 feet tall.

When complete, it will be the first naturally ventilated office building on the west coast since the advent of air conditioning.[citation needed]
