San Filippo del Mela is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, located about 170 km east of Palermo and about 25 km west of Messina. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,138 and an area of 9.8 km².^[1]

The municipality of San Filippo del Mela contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Olivarella, Cattafi, Corriolo, and Archi.
