The San Emigdio Mountains is a mountain range of the Transverse Ranges. It is located in Southern California, extending from Interstate 5 at the Grapevine on the east side to Highway 33-166 on the west side. The San Emigdio Mountains link the Tehachapis and Temblor Range and form the southern wall of the San Joaquin Valley. Kern, Los Angeles, and Ventura Counties share the mountains range. The range reaches an elevation of 8,831 feet at Mount Pinos. The mountains generally lie in an east west direction.
Major towns located in the San Emigdio Mountains are Frazier Park, Lake of the Woods, and Pine Mountain Club.
