The San Diego Music Awards are an awards show held annually in San Diego, California to recognize the best bands and artists in local music. The awards have been held since 1991 and have been organized by the city's main local music publication, CityBeat (formerly called SLAMM). The show is sponsored by a variety of local businesses including Sycuan Resort and Casino and Karl Strauss Brewing Company. Over the years the show has featured awards in a variety of categories covering nearly every genre of music. A complete list of past winners can be viewed at the show's official website.
