Yumi: Samurai Warrior is an upcoming sidescrolling fighting game for the Sega Dreamcast.
The game is loosely based on an ancient 12th century Japanese female warrior samurai named Tomoe Gozen. Instead of playing Tomoe Gozen herself, the game will feature a female assassin inspired by Tomoe named Yumi.
The game will use a modified Beats of Rage engine called BorHED. The game will have features not usually found in the beat 'em up genre, such as an extensive stealth mode.
The game will take place in the legendary Genpei War, which will determine the first Shogun of Japan.
