[edit] Real Quality Wrestling

Hello Samgibbs : ) Welcome to WP. The article Real Quality Wrestling may not meet the criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia. At first glance, it does not include text that explains why it is encyclopedic. I'm not an expert on wrestling web sites, so I will it for others to decide. If you have any questions please leave them on my user page. FloNight talk 16:44, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

I have gone through to clean the article up and help it better reach the criteria -- Paulley 18:55, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] varsity pro

hey sam can you please check you edits... as you seem to delete large amounts of content for no reason (see here) and this can be considered vanadlism --- Paulley 15:45, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summary

If you look on a history of an article you can see peoples comments regarding an edit this is useful in seeing why something is changed and open a dialog for discussion... for instance not all wrestler article are in need of the stat box, stat boxes are used on wrestler articles with sufficient (well-written, informative, fact-based) career sections... also when creating a wrestler article remeber to correctly link pages (check links) and add a correct category... if you want to question the methords of wrestling articles please disscuss them on the Pro Wrestling Wikiproject

[edit] links

you might aswell leave wrestlers linked... it is later used as a good indication on "what links here" to see how noteworthy and article could be --- Paulley 11:46, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Len Davies

hey sam i have left some tips on Talk:Len Davies to help you clean up the article --- Paulley 19:21, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Jules Redman

Hi. I have deleted Jules Redman, as this article does not meet our criteria for inclusion. In particular, it does not provide a sufficient context for the reader to understand what it is about. Below is the text of the article. You can recreate the article with this test, but in this case you also have to provide at least a sentence telling who this guy is. Thank you. - Liberatore(T) 16:29, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

Is it Jules or Joel... the article is under Jules... but the first sentance states his name as Joel... could you please also clean up the article with proper space paragraphs and also exclude any info which is not relevent to the Joel/Jules --- Paulley 14:10, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Check your links

Check your links please... most of your links do not go where you want them too... i.e. UK Kid's article is not under Tom Jones (it might be his real name put that isnt where its linked), Chris andrews doesnt link to the wrestlers.. etc etc etc --- Paulley 14:06, 4 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Images

If you want to add images you would first have to upload them...

When uploading images please always edit the image description page and do two things:

 1. State the source of the image (the address of a web page, the title of the book or "I created this image myself.")
 2. State the copyright. The easiest way to list the copyright is to use a copyright tag. The most important tags are GFDL, PD, and fairuse. GFDL is for images that you create yourself. PD is for public domain images (either pre-1923 or released by the copyright holder). Fair use is for copyrighted images that we can use under the fair use rules in the USA.

Without proper source and copyright information, images will eventually be deleted!

You can view the image description page by clicking on an image, and edit it like any other wikipedia page: by clicking on the "edit this page" tab.

For more information:

Also if it is a wrestling picture add (linked) Category:Professional wrestling media --- Paulley 10:59, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article help

Hey Sam... i dont think we can save Skye.. but if we work together i think we can save Bubblegum from being deleted. --- Paulley

Ok i went through and saved Phil Blitz (aka Bubblegum) his deletion thing will end shortly... if you can write to the same standard on Skye we might be able to save it... use Blitz as guide.
1. Most importently find out her real name... and in future if u do list under ring names its Bubblegum (wrestler), not Bubblegum (Wrestler).
2. If you are unable to find out her real name then make the article reflect that;
Skye is the ring name of a British female professional.....
3. dont what ever you do just copy and paste from there officle site (like you did with bubblegum) as its a very good reason to delete the article.... find several sources and rewrite the information into the article.
4. Put the article into a correct category and stub it.
i will leave it to you to have a good go at this article to bring it up to standard. good luck! -- Paulley
Improving an article is one thing, but not the only thing. A wrestler needs to be notable. You can make the article as best as you can, but it won't change how notable the person is. Wikipedia isn't a place for your personal favorite wrestlers, it's a place for notable and known things. RobJ1981 08:57, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
Ok, i have had a look at Len Davies (media)... please can you go through add more link to obvious things (TV channels, Royal Air force, etc) and change from "Len did...." to "Davies did...".. the artcile should not be on first name terms with the subject --- Paulley 12:14, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
