Samuel Delucenna Ingham, M.D., believed to be a descendant of this article's subject, was chief of psychiatry at the USC medical school and a prominent Los Angeles neurologist and, later, psychiatrist.

His first son, Samuel Delucenna Ingham, was an accountant, who worked for UCLA. His son, Samuel Delucenna Ingham, is a lawyer.
