Talk:Samlaut Multiple Use Area
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Alternate names
I have recently seen references to a "Samlaut National Park" and a "Samlaut Protected Area." I presume these refer to this article "Samlaut Multiple Use Area." There are a few possibilities:
- Other writers simply got the name wrong, and Samlaut is really called a "Multiple Use Area."
- Cambodia has changed the designation.
- One or both are really different properties.
I went ahead and created redirects here for now. If someone finds out that #2 is correct, please rename the article if you are so motivated. If #3 is correct, please feel free to change my redirects to stubs. — Eoghanacht talk 14:10, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
- I checked on the IUCN database, and found that it is listed there as a "Multiple Use Management Area." Until I see some better data, I am hesitant to move the article to a new name, but I will add one more redirect. — Eoghanacht talk 16:22, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
