The Sam Woo BBQ in San Gabriel is always overcrowded (no hyperbole!), even on Mondays. I think this location is overrated as the food is not that great there. The one in Alhambra is better in terms of price and quality, although it is quite cramped and brings in plenty of Mexican/Hispanic, Vietnamese, and Filipino customers as does the older one in Chinatown.

The Sam Woo Dim Sum Resturant in Rowland Height has been closed since October 2006. Rumor said it was forced to close down by Los Angeles County's Department of Health.
