Samvrutha Sunil is a South Indian actress.She was introduced to the film industry through a Malayalam film Rasikan opposite Dileep. She had acted in several films in Tamil and Malayalam.

Her first film Rasikan was a super hit but the next films fared poorly. She got a prestigious project Skaria Pothan Jeevichiripundu opposite super star Mohanlal, but the film was shelved. Her first Tamil film, Uyir, was a moderate success.
