Samurai is a Tamil language film released in 2002. The film was directed by then debutante, Balaji Sakthivel and produced by S Dhanu under the Alayam Banner. The film starred Vikram, Anita, Jayaseel and Shriya Reddyin the lead roles. Vadivvukarsai, Nassar and Chinni Jayanth all play in other roles. The film's music was composed by Harris Jayaraj. The film released in November, 2002 became a super hit in most areas raising business for the lead actors.
