Samuel Vetch (December 9, 1668, Edinburgh, Scotland – April 30, 1732) was a British Army officer and former colonial governor of Nova Scotia.
Francis Nicholson blamed Vetch for the loss of Nova Scotia to the French due to his poor command. Vetch later served under Nicholson when he retook Nova Scotia, after which he became the governor of the colony. Vetch was often criticized as a self-serving and ineffective administrator.
