Samuel McLean is a politician of the Canadian provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador.

On July 28, 2004, McLean ran for the Canadian House of Commons, representing the New Democratic Party in Bonavista—Exploits, but lost to Scott Simms of the Liberal Party of Canada. McLean received 2,667 votes to Simms's 15,970.
