Samuel Griffith (February 14, 1816 – October 1, 1893) was a Democrat member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania, United States.

Samuel Griffith was born on February 14, 1816 in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales, United Kingdom. He was instructed in elementary subjects by a private teacher. He graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1846.

Griffith was elected as a Democrat to the 42nd United States Congress. He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1872.

Griffith started his legal career before his political career after he was admitted to the bar in 1846; he began his practice in Mercer, Pennsylvania. After his unsuccessful reelection attempt, he resumed the practice of law in Mercer.

Griffith died in Mercer on October 1, 1893 and was buried in Mercer Cemetery.
