Samuel Abbott Green (b. Groton, Massachusetts March 16, 1830 - d. December 5, 1919) was an American politician from Massachusetts who served as mayor of Boston in 1882.

Born in Groton, Massachusetts on March 16, 1830, Samuel Abbott Green was a physician-turned-politician who served as a Colonel in the American Civil War and as the mayor of Boston in 1882. Green died in 1919.
