[edit] Radio
Little is known about SBC's radio operations -- it has at least one radio network SBC Radio 1 (formerly Radio 2AP), broadcasting from Nuutoi at 540kHz(AM). As of 1999, there was a second service broadcasting on 727kHz, broadcasting only one hour of educational programming on weekdays, and the Parliament when it's in session. [1]
There is also an SBC-FM, but little is known of that station as well.
[edit] Television
SBC TV 1 (originally Televise Samoa) is Samoa's public television station, currently broadcasting from 6AM to 12 Midnight. SBC TV 1 usually broadcasts local news and entertainment, plus news from New Zealand's TVNZ. In addition to funding from the Samoan Government, SBC's television programs are also funded by commercials.
