Sammy Morgan born 3 December 1946 in Northern Ireland is a retired professional footballer and currently Education Officer at Ipswich.

Sammy is a former Northern Ireland international striker with 18 caps.He played for Port Vale, Aston Villa, Brighton and Cambridge before moving to the Netherlands where he played for Sparta Rotterdam and F.C. Groningen.

When his playing days were over he became a teacher in Gorleston. He also became involved in Norwich youth team in 1990.

In January 1998 he signed for Norwich full time as the youth develpoment officer as was able to become the club's first Director of their Football Academy as he holds a UEFA Class A licence.

He resigned in 2004 and moved to Ipswich as education officer.
