Samizdata

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Samizdata (derived from Samizdat, a system of clandestine publication of banned literature in the USSR) is a group weblog with contributors from Britain, the United States, and Australia.[1] Originally named Libertarian Samizdata, it has dropped the adjective as it was no longer fully representative of its editors' position.

The editors describe Samizdata.net as a blog for people with a critically rational individualist perspective. We are developing the social individualist meta-context for the future. From the very serious to the extremely frivolous...[2]

The Guardian claimed that it was "by some measures the nation's most successful independent blog".[3]
