Sami Khoshaba Latchin

Sami Khoshaba Latchin is an Iraqi-born U.S. citizen, naturalized in 1998, after moving to the U.S. in 1993. On August 31, 2004, Latchin was arrested by U.S. federal agents on charges of making false statements to immigration officials when he applied for his citizenship. The indictment claims Latchin failed to disclose his employment by the Iraqi Intelligence Service and membership Iraq's Baath Party. It also claims that Latchin was a deep undercover "sleeper" spy, and that he has travelled overseas three times to meet with his handlers.

Latchin has plead innocent to these charges.
