Samantha Ronson is a popular A-list party DJ/rock singer, which seems to run in the family. Her step-father is musician Mick Jones of the rock band Foreigner and her mom is Ann Dexter-Jones. Her twin sister is fashion designer Charlotte Ronson and her older brother is legendary NYC DJ and producer Mark Ronson . Samantha and Mark are both very good friends with DJ AM and Samantha is close friends Lindsay Lohan.

She was formerly signed to hip hop label Roc-A-Fella Records and she released three songs: "Pull My Hair Out", "Fool", and "Built This Way" which were featured in the movie Mean Girls.
