Sam Taylor (director)

Sam Taylor (August 13, 1895 – March 6, 1958) was a film director, screenwriter, and producer. Taylor is best known for his work with Harold Lloyd. He is amusingly recalled today for his 1929 adaptation of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, in which a screen credit is given for "additional dialogue by Sam Taylor."
