Sam Gross is an American cartoonist. He was born in New York City and began cartooning in 1962.
His cartoons have appeared in magazines such as The New Yorker, Harvard Business Review, Esquire, Cosmopolitan, and Good Housekeeping.
He was the Cartoon Editor of National Lampoon and Parents Magazine. He created Cigarman.
