Sam Aaron

Sam Aaron (1912-July 21st, 1996) was a pioneering wine merchant and co-founder of Sherry-Lehmann Wines and Spirits Merchants. He was a judge at the New York Wine Tasting of 1973 which featured many of the same French and American wines that would be judged at the Judgment of Paris. [1]

Aaron's innovations included detailed and extensive catalogs of wine. [2]. With his brother Clifton, he co-authored the 1975 book The Joys of Wine.
