[edit] Replaceable image?
As a photograph of Sam Harris, this image is clearly replaceable. But as a photograph of Sam Harris appearing in the film The God Who Wasn't There, this image is unique and unreplaceable. We should therefore not delete it in my view. Laurence Boyce 11:51, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
- Why is it important to the article to have a picture of him in that movie?—Chowbok ☠ 15:57, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

- That is a question which is difficult to answer in objective terms, and is surely secondary to the issue of whether or not it should be deleted at source. Laurence Boyce 16:06, 26 February 2007 (UTC)

- It's not at all secondary. The issue here is whether this photo is replaceable. If it's just a photo of him, showing what he looks like, then it can be replaced by a free image. If the significance of this photo is that it's showing him in The God Who Wasn't There, then it can't... but to make that argument, somebody needs to demonstrate why having a photo of him in that movie is significant. After all, every photo is unique for some reason, but that doesn't mean we should keep every fair-use image. —Chowbok ☠ 16:58, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

- Well all I can say is that I like having it in the article. Plus the image is from a press pack – the image creator wants it to be widely used. To me it's a bit of a no-brainer. Laurence Boyce 17:37, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
