Response: Right here.

BTW your picture wasent that bad , why did you removed it . Farhansher 20:56, 17 November 2005 (UTC)

Response: I took my picture out and changed my user name for the same reason -- anonymity. I'm from Hyderabad (Deccan), which explains why my contributions are all associated with this city.

[edit] Who art thou ?!

I have the same question as PassionInfinity. A bit confused because this seems to be your userpage but you still sign as Salma. Tintin 17:21, 18 November 2005 (UTC)

Response: I'm still the same Salma but I just adopted a new nickname.

Response: I speak Dakhani Urdu which is full of slang. My contributions would be akin to Snoop Dog's songs.

[edit] 2006 bin Laden video

I recently started 2006 bin Laden video. Please improve it in any way you see fit. Thanks. KI 14:03, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Response: How would I "improve" the video? Please explain. Keep in mind that I think Bin Laden is a !@# of a $%^&* for a variety of reasons.

[edit] SM Hadi in the Olympics

Salma, I found two mentions of a Subimal Hadi who represented India in tennis dobules in the 1924 Olympics and lost in the quarter finals - in this link and in 'The Complete Book of the Olympics' by David Wallechinsky. Do you know if this was your grandfather, because Subimal sounds like a Bengali name ? Tintin (talk) 07:48, 14 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Are you a muslim?

Hey, just wanted to ask whether you are a Muslim or not? If yes then please enlist yourself in Muslim Wikipedians. Thanks! PassionInfinity 13:20, 15 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Removed

Hi, I reverted your change on User talk:Netpari because it looks like you mistakenly removed a large chunk of content. If I'm wrong then I apologise and you can revert it back to how it was. T. J. Day 20:21, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fixed mistake

For some reason you user page was redirected to mine. I removed the redirection directive. -- Netpari 00:18, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

Thank you. I've been wanting to do that for a long time now. Netpari 00:19, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Clean slate

Let us start from the very beginning...a very good place to start..Netpari 00:27, 8 May 2006 (UTC) When you read you begin with ABC when you sing you begin with Do Re Me Hoor 01:02, 8 May 2006 (UTC) The first three notes just happened to be Do Re Me Perihan 01:04, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please stop adding recipes to Wikipedia

Hello Salmaakbar. Thank you for your most recent contributions, namely a large set of recipes. Unfortunately these are not appropriate for Wikipedia, and will need to be deleted. You may wish to check out our sister site, Wikibooks, where this type of content would be more appropriate, specifically the Wikimedia Cookbook project. Thanks! Can't sleep, clown will eat me 03:06, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

Sure. I did'nt know they were not supposed to be there. Perihan 03:11, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Recipies

I didn't mean to offend, but you were posting so many.... It would really help if you would just cut/paste them to Wikibooks yourself and then nominate them to AfD. For someone other than the author to do it is a pain in the butt. And yes, I realized you were a girl after I had already wrote to the admin. Sorry. :P --Bayyoc 03:51, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

Don't send them to AfD, speedy them with {{db-author}} instead after you have cut and pasted them to the Wikibooks Cookbook. They don't need to go AfD because as the creator of the articles you can speedy them yourslef. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 04:33, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Netpari/Perihan/Salmaakbar

I seem to have stumbled into some controversy here. I don't understand that if what is now my page was yours, how the system let me create that user name. I also don't understand whether your user name is "Perihan" or "Salmaakbar". If you think I am rude, then I am sorry. I can choose another user name if I "elbowed" you out of mine, but I don't understand that if you were using it "for months" how it wasn't reserved to you. Is there a bug in the software here? If so, I will give up the name. -- Netpari 06:12, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Template:Islam

Hi there, The Islam template is used in all Islam related articles and it carries an image of the mosque, if you take a close look at the other religion templates they all carry an icon that actually symbolizes the particular religion. The question is what symbolizes Islam? As a muslim you would agree that we cannot Idolize any symbol as sacred as it would be Shirk. So the next question is what kind of icon would correctly represent Islam and Muslims? It is undoubtedly the Shahada, because without it we wouldn't be muslims. So I have suggested to change the template image from a masjid to a Masjid with the Shahada in it. In order to have the image in the template I need build some consense, could you kindly visit the talk page (Template_talk:Islam) and make your suggestion, lets have the template change so it will correctly represent Islam. (You do not have to support it if you dont like it). thanks in advance.  «Mÿšíc»  (T) 11:15, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Bible, The Qur'an and Science

You are actually allowed to just remove the proposed deletion ("prod") tag from your article; nothing forces you to just await its deletion, but the "prodder" would likely nominate it for deletion on WP:AFD in that case. Posting the same article under a different title (The Bible, The Qur'an and Science (book)) just looks like you are trying to evade the deletion issue. I would instead advice you to merge your text on the book into the biographical article on Bucaille, where it can be treated in relation to other works by the same author and in the context of his whole biography. If, at some point in the future, that article would get too long, it may be possible to spin it off into its own article again. Uppland 19:27, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

I can help you do the merge (it's not complicated). Uppland 20:25, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
No, that's fine, that's exactly how it is done. If you do it with text written by somebody else in the future, you should remember to leave an edit summary that explains where the text is taken from - that way the connection to the history of the text is preserved. As this was all your own text, that wasn't important, but leaving edit summaries is always a good way to make other people understand what you are doing, and it also makes it much later to look through the history of a page to find a particular change.
I redirected your book pages to his name now. Uppland 21:04, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
