Not knowing the show (I am not american) I cant tell how significant that performace is. However, because is featured on a segment called "Future talent showcase" where people submit themselves to rather than being found in their own right however leads me to think it is rather more insignificant coverage than Brooke's. That doesn't necessarily mean he is not notable, but I feel that using that as a basis for his notability is fairly shaky ground.
Using the number of pages turned up by a search engine to guague how popular someone is is very flawed. Brent has a very common name judging by the search engine results - because I dont have to go past the first page of google results to find a brent simon hit that isnt him. - Noone has anything in personally for Brent. Wikipedia has notability policies and I dont believe Brent passes them. As he is on that show as a musician, why dont you point out where in WP:MUSIC he passes notability. Remember, I have already stated that the ABC appearance was trivial coverage because it was a short section on a new talent contest/showcase. If you still don't like my repl, as the article is edit protected, you can either take it to WP:AN, ask for the protection to be removed and start the article again or you can try and get it undeleted at WP:DRV.
