[edit] Creek near Lompoc, CA

There is a Salsipuedes Creek that crosses Hwy 1 just south of Lompoc. Locals did not know the literal translation; but this helps make sense of it.

Salsipuedes Baja is a great surf spot, the area is owned by a local family and for a low rate you can caamp there, the marine life in the area is amazing. I recently went there and took a bunch of picture which you can view at my site. [1]Surf n' Snow Photography. Leave if you can, I almost couldn't!
