Talk:Salman al-Ouda
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I'm not a fan of this guy, but someone needs to add a little bit of balance to the article.
[edit] okay
I agree, in a sense. Al-Ouda's status in al-Qaeda has declined in recent years, witness the fact that Riyadh still allows him to operate. But were it not for his terrorism sympathies, al-Ouda would surely not deserve a bio at all.
I'll try to make time to update the article.

Status in Al-Qaeda?! So, now you're presenting it as a fact that this person was somehow part of Al-Qaeda? Not every Islamist cleric who once opposed the Saudi regime is automatically part of Al-Qaeda. Slackerlawstudent 17:55, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Okay, strike "status"; I mean his reputation among al-Qaeda members declined badly when -- under pressure form Riyadh and for no other reason -- he mildly objected to the Riyadh compound bombings, and was then denounced by other bloodthirsty clerics including the Qaida writer al-Jarbu.
