[edit] Needs cleanup.
This article is in dire need of a cleanup and attention from an expert. There ought to be sections on Jainism and Hinduism, as well as a much clearer introduction to Sallekhana in general. This is a potentially controversial topic & would greatly benefit from a neutral, clear article. Fdedio 09:39, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
