How can a Sales Order both be an order received by a business from a customer, and an internal document of the companygenerated by the company itself? At the same time the article states that the sales order should record the customer's originating purchase order which is an external document. To me it seems that it is the purchase order that is received by a business from a customer, and that the sales order is an internal document created by the business.
