Salvo (comics)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Salvo is a fictional character, a mutant in the Marvel Comics Universe. His first appearance was in X-Men vol. 2, #101.
Salvo is a member of the race of supermutants known as Neo. Salvo was a member of the Neo Warclan who tracked and fought Cecilia Reyes and the X-Men in the opening gambit of the Neo's war against humans and mutants, sparked when the High Evolutionary removed all mutants' powers, causing untold devastation to the hidden Neo community. Salvo was a very faithful Neo and believed in Domina's leadership abilities. He did not wish to defy her and kill Cecilia like Rax did.
Later, Salvo was literally torn apart by the wrath of Magneto after the Master of Magnetism sought to recruit the Neo into his war against humanity.
Note: This Salvo (II) should not be confused with Salvo I (Nightwatch foe), or Michael Crawley of Psi-Force, who was briefly known as Salvo.
[edit] Powers
Had peak human strength, speed, endurance, and reflexes, convert his body into a biometal state that he can shape into weapons, including projectile guns that draw ammunition from his body. These were obviously a lot stronger than normal bullets as Rogue predicted that they would be able to pierce her skin at close range. We never got to see proof of this, but it's evidence that they are stronger than normal bullets.
